ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS

Of the four luxury trains which operate in India, the Royal Rajasthan on wheels is by far the newest and most popular Luxury Train in India. Its tradition goes back to the former ruler of the principalities of Rajasthan. The imperial history of Rajasthan has left behind the majestic forts, palaces and worship places to be cherished by the myriad of tourists visiting this part of India today.

This brand new train operates on the same route as The Palace on Wheels. Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, a royal train rolling across the land of maharajas in western India started its maiden journey in January 2009. The train is a landmark in terms of comfort, luxury and service. This new luxury train is a joint venture of the Indian Railways, State Government of Rajasthan and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

An embodiment of luxury "Royal Rajasthan on Wheels" has 2 resto-cum-bars, which offer prolific Indian cuisines with blended wines. With a carrying capacity of 82 people, there are one super deluxe saloon and 13 deluxe saloons. There are 3 suites, which are named pearl, ruby and sapphire. The linen present in these suites matches with the interiors. The beds size in these cabins is also very immense and cubical showers are located in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are quite spacious and have more room than on the Palace on Wheels. It also offers a top-class spa and Wi-Fi facilities.
