20 days departing Adelaide on Monday 23 July 2012. There is something special about Australia’s vast Outback, and the Red Heart of this great country. Travelling through “the desert” as we affectionately call the area, you are assured of ever changing scenery as light tree lined creek beds flow from the flat topped mesas. Wedge tailed eagles or the whistling kite catch the thermals in their search for prey, and occasionally we may be rewarded with sightings of emu or kangaroos. The itinerary we offer takes longer to travel from Adelaide to Darwin than you may find with other companies because we allow for some more time, and we also include visits with Christian people serving the Lord through the Bush Church Aid Society (BCA), the Outback padres of the Presbyterian Inland Mission (PIM) in this, the centenary year for Flynn’s work, and we also will meet with workers translating the Bible through the care of Wycliffe (WBTA).
